Mental Health, Upbringing, and Environmental Influence on Psychological Development

Introduction

The mental health issue of the population is acute in every country of the world today. Natural factors are elements of the environment that impact living directly or indirectly. The human psyche is a very mobile and susceptible structure. It can be confidently argued that nature and upbringing have the most significant impact on the development of psychological disorders in an individual.

Effects of Isolation on Society and Children’s Development

With the advent of technology and urbanization, new living conditions lead to an isolation from reality (Tistarelli et al., 2020). Isolation is related to mental problems such as apathy, depression, increased irritability, and aggressiveness. Most psychologists believe that psychological health depends on the nature of upbringing in the family (Feldman, 2022). In an atmosphere of cold alienation and constant conflicts, children’s developmental disorders, while in a nurturing environment, children develop their best qualities (Caplan et al., 2019). That is why so much attention is paid to nurturing children at schools, kindergartens, and communities.

Impact of Childhood Trauma on Adult Life

The high rate of serial murders is a consequence of the horror experienced in childhood. This level reflects all the hatred and aggression the future serial killer kept for many years to take out on his victims (Harper et al., 2021). Many serial killers suffered a severe emotional shock in childhood, leading to the fact that they became adults with sexual dysfunction. As children, they considered their upbringing unfair, inappropriate, and cruel. Their mothers usually treated them coldly and inattentively.

Conclusion

To sum up, society should understand the influence of natural changes and education on the human psyche and do everything to ensure it is not harmful. This requires education about the importance of movement, unity with nature, and the ethics of raising children. Strengthening the population’s health in modern society, with its inherent socio-economic, scientific, and technological development features, and considering existing family values, is paramount.
