Introduction
In the process of perception, with the help of external orientation actions, the child correlates and compares the external properties of objects, highlighting permanent ones. These belongings become sensory samples by the end of 3 years of life. The cognitive process is the transition from using ready-made connections suggested by adults to their establishment. During acquaintance with objects and their use, the child’s perception improves, and his or her cognitive abilities and motor skills are formed.
Main body
Playing with various objects and materials, such as stones, sand, and water, the child learns about their properties and the laws that these objects obey. Thus, playing in the sandbox, the child can see that each toy leaves a different imprint in the sand. A child aged from one to two years old has an arbitrary form of attention that an adult can control. In the second year of life, the child can influence purposeful behavior, which requires the ability to hold attention (Ramantani and Reuner 16). Due to the stability of attention, it becomes more difficult to distract the child with something new for him. Approximately between the ages of 3 and 5, children begin to realize that other people have their points of view, feelings, and thoughts, and they perceive the world differently in their way.
Among the advantages of a child’s early development, it can be distinguished that with the help of various types of productive activities, the child reveals his abilities and talents. By the time the child enters school, parents already know the range of his interests and areas that are still worth working with. However, there are also disadvantages: sometimes parents choose directions for development on the advice of friends or following personal preferences. This does not always resonate with the child. The maximum is that he will obey the will of his relatives but not experience real pleasure from classes.
Conclusion
In conclusion, all normal parents dream of having healthy and happy children. Modern healthcare and planned parenthood allow one to pass all the necessary examinations, prescriptions, and recommendations and raise a healthy child. Every parent needs knowledge about the stages of a child’s development. Thus, if a child either begins to develop too quickly or vice versa, underdevelopment and backwardness are noticed – this should be a reason to contact competent specialists – a child psychologist, neurologist, pediatrician, or speech therapist.
