The individuals who study human advancement contend that it includes precisely distinguished stages which impose important social differences. There are several hypotheses and suggestions that are based on stage-situated human development. Sigmund Freud, Erik Erikson, Jean Piaget, and Lawrence Kohlberg proposed the most well-known theories. They share many similarities, which help to orient the knowledge of raising children.
Freud’s psychosexual and Erikson’s psychosocial approaches are two notable theories of cognition progress. According to Freud, the person is naturally instinctual, which suggests that behavior is not acquired (Osher et al., 2018). The most remarkable of the instincts is sexual intuition. While his speculations have commonly lost acknowledgment, different studies were based on his work. Freud’s thoughts impacted Erikson’s assumptions about human advancement. Similar to Freud, Erikson perceived the role of subconsciousness on improvement (Stewart et al., 2018). Erikson broadened Freud’s work and accentuated the social and natural components’ effect on development theory. He accepted that character is created in a progression of predetermined stages.
Likewise, Piaget’s theory centers around the human intellectual turn of events and depicts four phases of how youngsters ponder their current circumstances (Osher et al., 2018). Piaget accepted that all humans experience these stages similarly and cautioned that there is no way of skipping one of the phases. Kohlberg developed the previous work of Piaget to clarify the ethical improvement of children (Stewart et al., 2018). Kohlberg accepted that both ethical and psychological development follow defined stages.
