Temperament and Behavior in Young Children

Temperament is a manner in which a person approaches and reacts towards an external surrounding. In children, it influences the behavior and the interaction with other people in various environments, such as schools. The parents and teachers play the role of identifying children’s abilities and providing the support they need to adapt to different environments. According to (Einziger et al., 2018), efforts to control the predicted types of social problems have reduced in recent years. The lack of attention by the tutors may lead to aggression and decreased motivation to learn.

Various factors regarding temperament and behavior in young children can affect their academic performance at an early age. They include:

  1. Gender – this is the act of differentiating between femininity and masculinity of the people in an environment. Gender differences exist in temperamental expressions in teens; schools and other organizations are committed to eradicating the condition. In schools, teachers have minimized gender inequality, a challenge that has affected the new relationships and interactions between children.
  2. Biological characteristics – the traits can differ from one child to another and are demonstrated effectively through behavioral changes as the child grows. Different children have different habits that affect their behavior and need attention. The schools should encourage and motivate young children with distinctive biological characteristics to compete and achieve their goals.
  3. The family and social environment – the environments influence changes in the children’s emotions. As the technology expands, the tutors guide the young toddlers to learn through social media platforms which have increased schools’ performance. Also, children with less effort in managing emotions can be affected by marital issues, such as divorce.

Presenting an Article on Child Guidance

Child guidance is the ability to help teens make positive choices in their lives regarding education and careers. The teacher’s guide for the preschoolers influences childhood experiences, and thus, positive guidance is needed to promote the social development of children. Teachers use proper advice to solve challenges and improve the self-confidence or the motivation of the child. Various ways used to promote guidance in young children include;

  • Patient cooperation and understanding are the requirements needed by the teachers when teaching the teens about self-discipline. In addition, teachers require knowledge to understand the child’s abilities regarding disciplinary issues rising during the child’s growth.
  • Encouraging non-violent discipline methods to retain good morals is essential to the interaction of the child in school. Violent discipline methods may result in stress and low performance since the child is aggressive towards the environment. The consequence of stress can cause depression among teenagers that requires attention.
  • Giving the caregiver skills-based education is one of some strategies that is controlled by social learning activities. The caregivers should utilize new methods to handle the children, for instance, accompany the teens to read a storybook.
  • Parents should encourage an evidence-based curriculum in schools that is more detailed for their children’s consumption. The technology has upgraded the academic outcome hence, enabling teens to make career decisions. The encouragement the parents apply to their children should impact their future positively.

Discussion Board Post

I agree that parental intervention has a positive impact on child development by creating open-minded behavior. The connection has advanced through learning and disciplinary actions on behavior change. Parents’ close bond with their children enables them to identify behavior conditions that could contribute to the control of their future.

Similarly, strategies based on interactive features, such as having supportive caregivers who possess behavioral management skills, are crucial in child development programs. The caregivers should engage the children in non-curriculum activities to learn new projects. The exposure of children to different fields of study can boost their career paths. Parents and teachers are factors that contribute to the children’s moral values that are essential in education.
