The Conceptualization of Mental Health Wellness

Introduction

The concept of wellness still exists among the families, but they manage challenges in life. Wellness requires balancing different life dimensions such as emotions, social, spiritual, environmental, financial, occupational, physical, and intellectual. All those dimensions of wellness are somehow interrelated and crucial to a fulfilling life. The idea of wellness helps with knowledge application of future professional goals in developing a well-focused program applied to family therapy and its settings. In the paper, the conceptualization of mental health wellness, programs’ intervention, and face-to-face integration with the medical models will be articulated within the healthcare units to help families.

The conceptualization of mental health consciousness

Creating wellness goals and the methodologies to achieve them is crucial since it requires conceptualizing mental health. Dimensions of health, such as changing habits and life, are often vital in identifying and reaching healthy goals (Stoewen, 2017). Some of the specific goals include maintaining a healthy weight, managing medical challenges, minimizing life stress, maximizing body fitness, or nurturing creativity for fulfilling personal and professional purposes.

When it comes to the achievement of welfare, it requires finding the right approach of support in lives that is different from each other. All the fitness retreats play a significant role in achieving wellness by focusing on various health dimensions. However, depending on my particular needs, well plans may include personal training, nutritional counseling, compulsory support for the medical treatment plans, outdoor experiences, life coaching, healthy aging, and beauty-boosting.

Additionally, making health and wellbeing choices can sometimes be challenging, but knowing what is good and how to do it is the best thing. Those choices include habits and self-regulation, where each has its unique, influential ways. Any behavior that can be altered to a repetitive one requires more time and energy to think about and decide upon it. Following the habits’ performance efficiencies, the brain can reserve a self-regulatory strength to aim at life’s important decisions. It can also help a person engage in thoughtful activities, for example, reflection on the past, planning, and focusing on the future.

Sometimes, habits are more powerful because more than 40 percent of one’s behaviors are repeated since they shape a person’s existence and future. Habits are more influential when it comes to health, wellbeing, and quality of life. Due to the different perceptions of how people interpret things, the habit can be seen as a recurrent behavior since it is signaled by a unique context that often occurs without awareness or conscious intent and is obtained through frequent repetition. Thus, it can be recognized as a formula that the brains apply because the studies show that habits that become programmed in the brain structure can never be eliminated once it is cut.

It is more difficult to change because it is a matter of resolution and modernizing the brain. Finally, to change any habit, one should first create a new routine to eliminate the old cue and enclose new habits. Even though we know what is good for us, inserting the new practices becomes hard. The rules tend to keep us doing what we have been doing because a habit is a disease. They are difficult to change, and everyone can attest to that. Still, we can try to minimize the possibilities of success with strategies and self-awareness, which are necessary to establish a successful habit. The changes become more achievable when you pay more attention to who you are as an individual. More so, inserting those routines can take advantage of your strengths, assertiveness, and affinities.

Additionally, other changes are attained after choosing strategies that can improve success chances. For instance, monitoring, decreasing, or increasing convenience, planning, and starting with the habits that can directly strengthen your self-control. Successful habit changes require more coordination of the multiple strategies to develop new behaviors.

Involvement of complementary therapies programs

The process of interfering with the outcome to improve the functioning can be experienced after a program’s intervention. There are programs such as complementary therapies, which can be used for consultation in mental health wellness. The corresponding psychoanalysis setting can be applied in family therapy for accomplishing a future professional goal (Cluxton-Keller & Bruce, 2018). The complementary analysis’s main objective is to review the current and future evidence used in family therapies to ensure their effectiveness in treating and preventing perinatal despairs.

Globally, perinatal despair has become a significant challenge due to depressive signs developing every time during the pregnancy stage. Regular arguments and conflicts between the partners in a couple need more consultations with the family psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are the mental health professionals licensed to diagnose and handle emotional and mental disorders within the marriage context and the household systems. Therapy focuses on how personal interactions can affect every domestic member’s functioning and overall household roles. Such domestic roles can be defined as relationship satisfaction and couple communication as it involves emotional expressions and solutions to solve problems.

Furthermore, the involvement of couple therapy wellness programs has much impact on positive changes in an individual’s health and lifestyle behavior. A different way of creating a culture of well-being includes eliminating obstacles to wellness where most couples want to improve and develop healthier lifestyles. The best way to stop those hindrances is to pay much attention to enhancing wellbeing. Techniques to resolve stress concerns are the leading reason couples fail terribly in building a culture that improves wellbeing. Developing the culture is better than the wellness program, but both ought to help your relationships create positive impacts.

Other perspectives to boost mental health include positive psychological human needs. They are essential entities to human beings since the survival levels will be minimal if there are no mental needs, e.g., need for food, water, oxygen, shelter, and sleep. The satisfaction of other requirements such as safety needs for belonging or love, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs still contribute more to mental health. The environment is another factor due to the surrounding factors that help improve the well-being of an individual. It can be categorized into internal and external environments and how each affects humans separately.

The exposure to the outer settings will differ more compared with the surroundings in the inner. For instance, religion will have more impact when it comes to spirituality. Social justice is another critical feature in improving the couple’s wellness because it favors both sides without discrimination. Besides, it is fair as it manifests in society as it includes fairness in housing and more in healthcare.

Incorporation of face-to-face with the medical models and couples

Complementary therapies help in the articulation of direct integration with the medical models and couples. It considers all trained psychiatrists to handle mental health issues in family therapy. Currently, mental health care treatment does not necessarily solve all the complex mental illness challenges, contributing to the most significant percentage of adult incapacity globally (Lake, 2017). Complementary treatment reviews some of the challenges facing mental health care and how it can develop a care model in healthcare settings. However, mental illness within the family can be associated with other problems such as poverty and benevolent disasters, leading to suicide.

Future professional goals can help combat one of the most causes of preventable deaths among families, particularly young couples. Due to the high lifestyle, sometimes it becomes hard to treat such diseases because of high treatment costs.

Due to the difficulties in life nowadays, suicide is the leading cause of death among couples, which results in enormous social disruptions and losses of the community’s productivity. As a psychiatrist, articulation of direct interaction with the couples can help combat the situation, such as the inclusivity of effective management and control in the mental health departments. Afterward, it will handle some of the contributing factors to the mental disease and innovate the best solution for the couples.

Secondly is providing comprehensive and integrated mental health and social care services in general to society-based settings. They will help to ensure even the ones from not well-to-do families have afforded the benefits since they are brought even closer to their homestead. They should also consider the implementation of strategies on how to promote and prevent psychological illness. These will manage the exercise of the society’s prevention measures, leading to promoting and appointing some society members to teach their colleagues.

Conclusion

Generally, mental health has been expounded where it involves creating and designing someone’s wellness goals. Different challenges affecting the couples have been witnessed due to changes in habits and life, which are crucial in identifying and reaching wellness goals. Sometimes, habits affect the behaviors since it is repeated severally in day-to-day activities. It also involves an individual’s mental health because adapting to a new change becomes difficult to replace with habits. For an individual to change, it is not necessary to resolve but modernize the brain. Furthermore, the intervention of programs will provide methods that will help the individuals, particularly the couples, to handle the arising challenges in their relationships.

Additionally, other perspectives to improve mental health include psychological needs. Those are the basic needs that every individual should consider to ensure mental wellness has been achieved. Other factors like environment are highlighted and affect cognitive performance—articulating medical models in the health sectors. Psychiatrists play a significant role in handling some mental illnesses, among other related diseases. It shows that the majority get it challenging to survive and commit suicide due to difficulties in life. There have been significant and alarming issues even for young couples.

Furthermore, the improvement of effective leadership and governance should be recognized in mental health centers. Implementation of different strategies should be considered for prevention and promotion in the communal areas. There are also provisions for integrated and comprehensive mental and social care services that should be in community-based settings. Finally is the strengthening of the information and communication systems in the research areas to combat the challenge.
