How a Person Develops and the Factors That Influence the Growth

Child development is the individual progress from dependency to independence between birth and adolescence, which entails emotional and psychological changes. Development outlooks on person behavior and thinking patterns may have been influenced by how a child was raised. Filming Interaction to Nurture Develop (FIND) uses video to help coach parents using the “serve and return “method. The development of the program was to improve interrelation between parent and their children, which has subsided effects on a child’s development. The serve and return entail a parent interaction with the child, which plays a critical role in strengthening a child’s brain and developing cognitive and emotional skills in life. For instance, when a child wants attention from a parent, one should respond positively, like smiling and holding their hands to show they care.

A child can also develop self-confidence and cope with heavy stress through the serve and return Interaction. If a caregiver is responsive to a child’s signals and needs, it creates a supportive and loving environment rich in cognitive Interaction and emotional. Detrimental development can occur in a child if there is an absence of the serve and return Interaction in an environment. Moreover, physical, mental, and emotional health can result in a child’s brain if a caregiver’s response is unreliable or inappropriate.

If I were a researcher, I would apply the cross-sectional method to investigate the environment that influences child development. Infants are susceptible to the environment they survive. First of all, humans have a strong need for security and safety, and they are in search of these attributes in their environment. Secondly, they search for physical comforts, such as an environment with the right amount of temperature. Lastly, they focus on psychological that is an environment they are familiar.

However, if they lack this form of environment, it influences their Interaction with people, behavior, and mood. For instance, if children are raised in an abusive environment, they may become rebellious or end up in broken marriages as they adopt this characteristic from their caregivers, who significantly impact their lives. Thus, if a keen interest were undertaken on the environment as the critical factor to a person’s development, they would understand how it affects them.

The unborn baby spends around 38weeks in the womb, but the average length of gestation is forty weeks. Pregnancy is divided into three trimesters; the first trimester, which occurs from conception to week twelve, the second trimester, which appears twelve to twenty-four weeks, and the third trimester, which occurs twenty-four to forty weeks. Conception is the period where the sperm fertilizes a woman’s egg (ovum) at this stage, where the fetus inherits characteristics and gender. In the first trimester, the fetus develops rapidly as the brain, spinal cord, and other organs start to form. At this phase, the fetus’s arms and legs begin to bud, and the heart begins to beat. When it is eight weeks old, the toes and the finger start to form before the trimester ends, the sex organs will have begun to develop.

In the second trimester, the baby grows up to three pounds in weight and sixteen inches. The organs and the brain develop fully, while the heart moves a hundred pinch of blood in a day. At this phase, the lungs expand but are yet to start breathing. In addition, the eyes and ear position themselves in the head, and the fetus can move, turn, and kick in the womb. Different finger and toe prints develop in this phase, where also the hair grows on the head. In the third trimester, the baby is fully grown, where it’s usually between six to nine pounds and nineteen to twenty-one inches. At this stage, the baby turns its head down as to get ready to be delivered. In addition, the brain develops while the lungs and kidneys mature. It gains muscle tone and 16% body fat, and the bones are soft to ease delivery. The colors of the eyes are blue, and they stay so until a few days or weeks after they are born.
